For Soft Radiant Skin, Slather on Pumpkin

Yes, really. In addition to supplying loads of antioxidants like vitamin A and retinol, pumpkin is an excellent source of fruit enzymes and acids. These fruit enzymes help exfoliate your skin by speeding up cellular turnover. They dissolve old, loosened surface skin cells to reveal the healthy new skin cells below.

Pumpkin is beneficial to dry, mature skin or sun damaged skin as well as acne/trouble prone skin because it is very high in Vitamin A. It's also great for normal skin as an exfoliator. Pumpkin seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids.

Other effective fruit pulps include cherry, raspberry, blueberry, pomegranate, and apple.

Don't want to slop pumpkin/fruit pulp on your skin--even though pumpkin will be abundant in the weeks to come? There are several great products that will make the application a little tidier.
