Review: Remergent DNA Repair Formula
After years of exposure to the sun (even with SPF 30 protection), pollutants and just plain age, my skin needed help. I’ve tried numerous products to help repair my skin and have been disappointed with the results. But after trying Remergent DNA Repair Formula for three weeks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised to finally see positive changes in my skin.
Does DNA Repair Formula Really Reverse Sun Damage?
My skin is noticeably smoother and brighter and my skin tone is starting to even out. While I don’t have a lot of wrinkles on my face, the ones I have seem to be less noticeable. Where I’ve seen the biggest difference is on my neck. Typically this is a tough area to treat, but already my neck seems firmer and less crepy looking.
Remergent DNA Repair Formula is part of a skin care line created by AGI Dermatics, which has extensively researched DNA skin repair. Their DNA Repair Formula contains Photosomes, Ultrasomes, Roxomes, Evodiox, and Thiotaine and uses a patented liposome delivery system to encourage the skin’s own DNA repair mechanism to repair past sun damage and help prevent future UV damage. Remergent also has products for dry skin, dark under-eye circles and hyperpigmentation.
Allure, Shape and Prevention magazines have featured both the DNA Repair Formula and Remergent’s Advanced Retinol Therapy in their lists of best beauty/anti-aging products.
Applying DNA Repair Formula
DNA Repair Formula’s product literature says it is recommended for all skin types, even sensitive skin. My skin tends to be fairly sensitive and I’ve experienced no adverse reactions. You only need to apply it once per day after cleansing. The lotion has a light, non-greasy texture and absorbs quickly. The scent is barely detectable, which is a nice change from so many other heavily-scented products. You may find that you don’t need to apply an additional moisturizer. I also like the fact that it’s paraben-free.
At $125 for a 1.7 oz. container, DNA Repair Formula is not cheap, but it definitely delivers. The lotion has a metered pump dispenser so you supposedly get the right amount each time, yet I found if I used a full pump on my face it was too much. About half a pump works best for me.
